At RA Tennis Academy, we have a team of highly qualified coaches who are passionate about tennis. Our trainers combine experience, knowledge, and dedication to provide high-quality coaching tailored to the needs of each player. Our team works with players of all levels, from beginners to advanced competitors, offering personalized training that helps develop technique, confidence, and performance on the court. Rosa Andrés
Rosa Andrés is a former professional tennis player who competed on the international circuit from 1993 to 2006. During her career, she played in some of the world’s most prestigious tournaments, including Wimbledon, the Australian Open, the US Open, and Roland Garros, and won a Grand Slam title. With more than 20 years of coaching experience, Rosa shares her professional knowledge and passion for the sport, helping players of all levels improve their technique, confidence, and performance on the court.
Ricky Vives
He started playing tennis at the age of three, and by seven he had begun competing at a national level. During his early years, he became Mallorca champion in the Benjamín and Infantil categories.
After a period away from the sport, he returned at the age of 27, regaining his training routine and passion for tennis, and went on to win our RA Open 2024 tournament in the Pro category. In addition to being a great player, he has been working as a coach at our academy for eight years.
He is a very dynamic instructor, known for his dedication and his strong focus on correcting players’ mistakes to help them improve continuously. He is also responsible for maintaining our courts, ensuring they are always in perfect condition for everyone to enjoy.
Pepijn Sweens
He started playing tennis at the age of 10, while also competing in gymnastics and football. At 14, he decided to fully focus on tennis and joined ATA (Ambition Tennis Academy) in the Netherlands, where he trained at a high-performance level.
Between the ages of 16 and 18, he combined his studies with intensive training at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor, Mallorca, for two years. After completing this stage, he obtained his official coaching license through the KNLTB (Dutch Tennis Federation), becoming a certified tennis coach.
He speaks Dutch and is also fluent in German, English, and Spanish. Since his first visit to Mallorca, he has been determined to live and work on the island as a tennis coach.
During his competitive career, he won an Under-16 ranked tournament in the Netherlands and a Monty Tournament in Mallorca while training at the Rafa Nadal Academy. He has also competed in team competitions in the Netherlands as well as during the 2024/2025 season.
At RA Tennis Academy, he works in a respectful and supportive environment with a strong focus on ambition and continuous improvement. He enjoys working with players of all levels and is also available as a sparring partner for competitive players
